The best performing autograph between 2000 – 2015.

George Harrison (25 February 1943 – 29 November 2001), was an English guitarist, singer, songwriter, and music and film producer who achieved international fame as the lead guitarist of the Beatles.

Often referred to as “the quiet Beatle”,Harrison embraced Indian mysticism and helped broaden the horizons of his fellow Beatles as well as their Western audience by incorporating Indian instrumentation in their music. Although the majority of the Beatles’ songs were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, most Beatles albums from 1965 onward contained at least two Harrison compositions.

His songs for the group included “Taxman”, “Within You Without You”, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, “Here Comes the Sun” and “Something”, the last of which became the Beatles’ second-most covered song.

George Harrison has been the best performing autograph between 2000 – 2015, up 1800% since 2000 and 7.0% alone between 2014 – 2015. The average price for a signed photograph today of excellent condition is £3,750.

Investments involving autographs from the ‘Fab Five’ are great investments for the future. In today’s volatile share and property markets, there are not many investments of a low risk nature that returned 7.1% between 2014 – 2015 not to mention over 1800% in 15 years.

Building a portfolio of investment grade autographs can be stress free, are easily sold due to demand and in the majority of cases are always appreciating in value.
